Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using a Happy plugin, such as Happy Memes, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the plugin. The Happy app has its own Terms of Use.

About Happy Plugins

Happy plugins are free. Happy Memes is a skills-only plugin: written instructions that ChatGPT or Codex follows. ChatGPT or Codex does the work, including any web browsing and image generation, under OpenAI's Terms of Use and Usage Policies. You need your own access to those apps, and you must follow their terms.

Happy Memes is released under the MIT License.

Your Responsibility

  • You are responsible for what you make with a Happy plugin and for anything you post, share, or publish.
  • Check every image before you post it. Generated images can get facts, text, or details wrong.
  • Only add material to a request, such as photos or logos, that you have the right to use.
  • Follow the rules of the sites where you post.

Happy claims no rights in what you create. OpenAI's terms cover the outputs of ChatGPT and Codex.

Acceptable Use

You must not use a Happy plugin to:

  • Impersonate real people, or make fake quotes, posts, or screenshots attributed to them
  • Harass, defame, or target anyone, including victims of tragedies
  • Infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, or other rights
  • Do anything illegal, or anything the app you use it in does not allow

Built-in Limits

The Happy Memes plugin is designed to avoid real people's likenesses, fabricated quotes, copyrighted characters, and recognizable brand mascots, and to keep results suitable for a general audience. These limits reduce mistakes but do not prevent them. A meme that parodies a company or product does not mean that company is involved.

Independence

Happy plugins are made by Happy. They are not made, sponsored, or endorsed by OpenAI. ChatGPT and Codex are trademarks of OpenAI.

Limitation of Liability

Happy plugins are provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, the developers and contributors of Happy are not liable for any damages arising from your use of a Happy plugin, including content you generate, post, or share.

Data and Privacy

Happy plugins do not collect your data. See our Plugin Privacy Policy for details.

Modifications to Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page, with a new date above. Your continued use of a Happy plugin after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Termination

You may stop using a Happy plugin at any time by disabling or removing it in ChatGPT or Codex.
